I’m back with the review of another current favorite of mine, Loreal Paris Rouge Caresse lipstick in the shade Sweet Berry. It’s an adorable pink-brown nude and a perfect everyday- wear lipstick. Read on to find more about it.

My take on L’oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Sweet Berry:
This is the sixth Rouge Caresse lipstick in my stash and while I don’t like two of the six shades I own, I love the rest four to death. I kid you not! This, in my opinion, is the best range of lipsticks by Loreal.
The packaging, like I described in my earlier post on Rouge Caresse lipsticks, is very much similar to the packaging of the infallible lipsticks, just that these ones have a hint of golden at the centre. The sticker at the bottom denotes the shade and is color coordinated with the shade of the lipstick. All in all, a very sleek, sturdy and classy packaging.
Like I said before, this is one of the best textured lipsticks out there! So soft and creamy, almost feel like a lip balm on lips. I actually prefer such balmy lipsticks to matte ones that settle into fine lines making lips look awful and then they take forever to get removed from lips. Ugghhh! Rouge Caresse lipsticks on the other hand are super moisturizing and are so smooth in texture that they glide onto lips very effortlessly without any tugging and give a gorgeous sheen to lips. It does not settle into fine lines at all. It’s sheer to buildable. Though, just two swipes are sufficient for me most of the times.
It’s like a lip balm, a lipstick and a lip gloss all came together to make one single lip product that solves the purpose of these three. The shade Sweet Berry is a really pretty pink-brown n*de that will suit most skin tones (yippeee ! ). I usually wear this lip shade with a smokey eye look. Now coming to the only minus about this lipstick- the staying power. It barely stays on for 2 hours and then it needs a touch up (which I don’t really mind; but I would have loved this more if it were a little long lasting). Leaving the staying power aside, everything else about this lipstick is just perfect!
